The first phase, One CPP, Living Accommodation, 5 Wellhead platforms and infield’s pipeline will be built and One FSO (condensate storage) will be chartered for the fields with the first Gas target in Q2 2021. And:

SENIOR STRUCTURAL ENGINEER

JOB PURPOSE:

• Responsibility shall be for structural design of facilities.
• Liaison with other disciplines to ensure that technical interfaces are controlled.
• Shall oversee preparation of contractor structural deliverables for scope areas assigned by the
• Lead Engineer, reviewing documents and managing technical quality of work performed.
• Control work to prepare procurement packages and issue in accordance with schedule and quality requirements.
• Perform technical bid clarification and evaluation for structural steel packages and structural scope in other packages.
• Oversee structural scope in the 3D model including model reviews and timely close out of review actions.
• Review vendor data and ensure that the materials supplied comply with company requirements as defined in the purchase documents.
• Support and deputize for the Lead Structural engineer as required.
• Supervise and develop junior engineers

PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Quality and timely preparation of structural design for scope or areas assigned by Lead Engineer
• Liaise with Contractor engineers, package leads and vendors to monitor activities and progress and taking action to maintain schedule.
• Review contractor and vendor documents to ensure compliance.
• Ensure that specific discipline aspects of the 3D model development meet Company requirements including schedule, participate in model reviews.
• Liaise with Certifying Agent as required to obtain required design certification.
• Participate in HSE reviews HAZID and Model Reviews, ensure timely close-out of actions.
• Ensure that any issues which affect the quality, schedule or integrity of the design are raised tothe Lead Engineer and Engineering Manager at the earliest stage
• Provide supervision, guidance and training to junior engineers as required.

Support construction and installation teams with structural issues.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

Education:

• Graduate in civil/structural engineering or closely related discipline
• Good standard of English, writing, listening and speaking.

Experience:

• Minimum 10 years-experience in Structural Engineering a minimum 5 years in Senior Engineer roles for offshore oil and gas project. Experience in Client and Contractor roles preferred

Specific knowledge:

• Deep knowledge of design and analysis of structures for offshore platform topsides design including complex production platforms,
• Good understanding of geotechnical and met ocean data and use in foundation and structures design.
• Deep understanding of load out, transportation and offshore installation activities and analysis. Familiar with regional installation practices and vessel types.
• Deep understanding of applicable Codes, Standards, Regulations and certification requirements for offshore structures.
• Understanding of safety of offshore oil and gas platforms, particularly relating to risks of fire
• and explosion to platform structural integrity, design and protection requirements.
• A broad understanding of other aspects of facilities design including mechanical packages, process equipment and piping.
• Computer skill: Office software, planning and project schedule software, Auto design software and data base management software. Familiarity with Sacs, Moses and other
• structural design software and advantage
• Must be able to work independently with limited supervision, capable to stand in for the Lead Engineer role when required.
• Effective team work and leadership skills
• Good mentoring skills
• Business understanding:
• Experience in controlling contractors and suppliers.
