- Provide all marine technical comments/suggestion during FPSO Project EPC to assure the marine equipment/system shall perform its design functions and the operation work can be performed safely, efficiently, and effectively.
- Review and comment technical documents during EPC phase of the project for marine system including but not limited to hull, tanks, cargo oil system, ballast system, IG system…
- Identify any technical conflicts/discrepancy which are not suitable and convenient for O&M. Identify and raise any marine technical issues which do not comply with statutory requirement, Class & and the international codes & standards requirements.
- Develop Operation & Maintenance manual/guideline/procedures for CRD project (Including FPSO & TLWP) to ensure that marine system comply with normal practice operation and manual, statutory, Class, Vietnamese rules, international codes & standards requirements.
- Develop CBTA modules for mechanical packages on CRD facilities.
- Review data build, testing and acceptance of CMMS system for CRD facilities (FPSO & TLWP).
- Review recommend 2 year spare part list and identify necessary spare parts & consumables for marine packages. Set min-max, re-order levels for spare part of marine packages.
- To be the marine technical authority, advice and support other teams on all marine related activities on CRD operation phase. Provide a timely and efficient support on marine issues to ensure safe, efficient and reliable operation of offshore facilities.
- Monitor offshore maintenance works on CMMS and ensure through audit that marine maintenance is being performed adequately in accordance with all procedures and maintenance routines. Review and update CMMS upon request for modification from offshore for marine system.
- Preparation of specifications, selection of suppliers, review of vendor data, liaison with other disciplines on packages preparation, support to offshore during installation and commissioning of any new install or repair of marine equipment for CRD FPSO.
- Prepare workpack planning of offshore major maintenance campaign related to marine works including but not limit to tank inspection, diving operation, UWILD …
- Participate in preparation of planned shutdown activities.
- Other jobs as assigned by CRD Operation Manager/PPS Board of Director.
Qualifications and Skills required:
- University degree, major in maritime engineering.
- Have experience and working knowledge as marine engineer or marine supervisor of offshore/onshore production unit or equivalent.
- Experience and knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management System.
- Familiar with competent base training program.
- Demonstrates personal initiative and motivation by working independently.
- Cultural sensitivity and ability to work within diverse team.
- Safety and environment focus.
