Vard Vung Tau is looking for qualified candidates to fill the below positions (In shipbuilding):

1. Quality Inspector

The purpose of this role is to carry out the assigned duties, which include but no limit to:

• Participate in daily inspection.
• Work with Classification society, Ship owner to get recommendation in order to take corrective
• action immediately.
• Prepare all procedures and instruction documentation relating to the specific working
• requirements.
• Ensure all equipment, material…that are fitted on board of vessel are approved one.
• Co-operate with concerning production departments to take pre-inspection and report issued
• properly.
• Collect all information to make Request for Inspection (RFI) as well as get all inspection report
• properly.
• Organize quality meeting.
• Report directly to Quality Manager all problems concerning about the project is in charged.

Qualifications Required:

• Bachelor or Master Degree within naval, marine or general engineering.

Experience Required:

• Strong Shipbuilding or Offshore experience.
• Minimum 2 year-experiences in a foreign company.

2. Accommodation Team Leader
The purpose of this role is to carry out the assigned duties, which include but no limit to:

• Manage a team of workers in charge of the following works:
• Install insulation (Pins, Rockwool, cladding).
• Adjust in workshop and install on the vessels accommodation bulkheads and ceilings
• panels.
• Install on board all accommodation floors (Floating floors, vinyl…etc.).
• Install and test on board ventilation system.
• Adjust in workshop and install on the vessels all the ship furniture and accommodation equipment (for bathrooms, galleys, bedrooms, lounges…).

Qualifications Required:

• Bachelor degree within naval, marine or general engineering.

Experience Required:

• Experience in people management and works organization.
• Experience in high standard marine accommodation works (4 stars hotels, resorts…etc.).
• Experience in carpenter works (Wood work, light panels work, furniture fabrication).
• Experience in floor installation (Vinyl, Tiling, carpets…etc.).
• Experience for HVAC system.
• Experience in insulation (Rockwool & cladding)

Other Requirements:

• Leadership skills.
• English/ computer knowledge is an asset.
