Vard Vung Tau is looking for qualified candidates to fill the below positions (In shipbuilding):

01. Surface Treatment Team Leader
02. Warehouse Manager

I. Responsibilities:
01. Surface Treatment Team Leader

• Manage a team of 15 to 30 workers.
  
• Ensure proper surface treatment methods are used by workers and contractors.
  
• Inspect surface quality after sand blasting or painting and specify necessary repairs.
  
• Organize the work to achieve HSE, Quality, Milestone and budget demanding targets in a challenging environment.
  
• Develop the workers skills and participate to their training.
  
• Work in deep cooperation with technical department and planning department to achieve the targets.
• Qualifications Required:Bachelor degree within naval, marine or general engineering.
• Experience Required:
  • Any industrial experience in Surface Treatment.
  • People and works solid management experience.
• Other Requirements:
  • Steel Surface Treatment knowledge. (Grid blasting, Sand blasting, paint).
  • Knowledge in shipbuilding and surface treatment facilities are assets.
  • Strict, working with method, organized.
  • Leadership skills.
  • English/ computer knowledge is an asset.

02. Warehouse Manager

• Organize reception, storage and distribution of all equipment, tools & consumables necessary for the yard production.
  
• Ensure all equipment is used in a safe and efficient manner.
  
• Ensure any damaged, missing or expired products are reported immediately.
  
• Set up & update the IT system in accordance with the physical material flow.
  
• Organize & manage the workforce in charge of material distribution in the yard.
  
• Organize with procurement department the supply chain optimization, streamlining the yard logistic system with a lean manufacturing approach.
• Qualifications Required:Bachelor or Master Degree within logistic, supply chain, naval, marine or general engineering.
• Experience Required:
  • Ship building or industrial experience.
  • Supply chain and warehousing.
  • Inventory and stock management.
• Other Requirements:
  • Fluent in written and spoken English and Vietnamese.
  • Computing skills in full suite of MS Application (MS Project software knowledge is an asset)
  • ERP (or BOM process) knowledge is an asset.
  • Strong Process skills.
  • People management skills.
  • Ship building technical issues interest.
