Crane & Hydraulic Engineer
Working in: Dong Xuyen IP, Vung Tau city
Salary: 1,000USD to 1,400USD
Job Description
• Design of cranes, design improvements and optimization
• Provision of specialist technical advice/guidance within the company on crane/equipment capabilities
• Support new initiatives to reduce costs and improve operability across the crane and equipment flee
• Support crane and equipment maintenance regimes with a focus on reliability
• Direct the equipment maintenance focus using conventional reporting and the use of condition monitoring
• Provide technical and emergency response support including travel, vessel attendance, 3rd Party management and incident investigation.
• Undertake regular audits of cranes/equipment, documentation, spares and maintenance regimes
• Support Vessel Chief Engineers and Crane/Hydraulic Technicians with specialist technical advice on all aspects of cranes/hydraulic equipment
Skills & Experience
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Appropriate, recognized Hydraulic Systems qualification
• Industry experience of multiple crane types and manufacturers
• In depth knowledge of industry approved practices and legislation
• IT literate, extensive use of spreadsheets and reporting tools familiarity with budget controls and financial reports
• Degree, recognized Project Management qualification
• Industry experience of crane design of major repair/upgrade
• Experience of computer based maintenance and procurement systems
• Being fluent in English (4 skills)
