1. Facility Cleaning and Maintenance

  • Ensure the delineation of responsibility for facility cleanliness is well understood across the organisation and Site Services scope is effectively delivered as reqd
  • Ensure that building maintanance is conducted as scheduled or as required basis by either DXP or Austal Site Services as appropriate.
2. Maintenance of Plant and Equipment
  • Ensure all Plant and Equipment are entered into the asset register and the operational status and assignment of all plant and equipment listed is understood at all times.
  • Develop a Planned Maintainance System for all “critical” plant and equipment
  • Electrical tagging is conducted in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • With direction from the Head of Production ensure that Power tool availability meets production requirements.
  • Agreed “scopes of repair” will be developed for all power tools and a min-max inventory of spare parts to support the “scopes of repair will be maintained
3. Lifting, Scaffolding and Access Equipment
  • Implement and maintain a system which ensures all “Heavy lifts” Units, Equipment or otherwise, are rigged and conducted only by trained personal and only after a documented risk analysis has been carried out and a lifting plan has been developed.
  • Ensure scaffolding and access equipment is certified and available and erected to support Production requirements.
4. Launching and Vessel Recovery
  • Ensure launch and recovery operations are conducted safely, cost effectively and with little or no environmental impact
5. Security and Emergency Response
  • Maintain Shipyard Security at all times and in a manner that meets the expectations of all customers both internal and external.
  • Be responsible for coordination of rapid and appropriate response to site wide emergencies.
6. Waste and Environmental Management
  • Ensure legislated environmental requirements are understood and measures are implemented to ensure compliance.
  • Be responsible for the implementation and maintenance of secure waste management procedures.

  • Annual leave is 18 days per year for the period from 1st January to 31st December, exclusive of public holidays of Vietnam. You are entitled to annual leave on a pro-rata basis with 01(one) additional day for 05 (five) years of employment.
  • Annual salary review based on employee's performance and contribution
  • Working hour : 45 hour/week (Monday to Friday)

QUALIFICATIONS AND LICENCES

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
  • 5 years of Management Experience
  • ISO 9001; ISO 14001 awareness and internal auditor
  • Scaffolding, lifting certificates
TECHNICAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
  • Proficiency in the relevant development of procedures and guidelines; conducting risk assessment, audit, inspection; managing of contractors.
  • Minimum 7 years working experience in the field of Site Services in manufacturing preferably shipbuilding.
  • Demonstrated experience in building and facility management including building maintenance, services and upgrades.
  • Basic knowledge of the workings of an older building including air conditioning systems, electrical and fire systems, plumbing and essential services.
  • Strong strategic and conceptual skills with ability to execute and follow through;
  • Ability to drive continuous improvement of the processes, policies, standards;
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written)
  • Computer literacy
