Summary of position:
- Field Operator is a position in the Operations Group who has the responsibility for carrying out operational activities of the PVC plant to ensure that plant safety, availability and reliability is achieved.
- The role of the Field Operator is to own and operate the equipment to achieve the production plan.
Major Responsibilities:
- Startup and shutdown various plans equipment properly and safety by following established operating procedures to meet product specifications.
- Take accurate reading of operating condition and report to Shift Superintendent on any abnormality abrupt change in condition. Records on field reading to be kept properly.
- Isolate and prepare equipment to be free from danger of chemicals, temperature, pressure etc. before handover to maintenance team to ensure that the maintenance activities can be carried out safety.
- Member of emergency response team and follow the instruction of on scene commander during plant emergencies.
- Able to work under pressure in managing the plant operation and maintenance.
- Together with Shift Superintendent to be able to become proficient in leading the shift team and managing the plant's production plan.
Knowledge & skill:
- Education level: Intermediate, college.
- (Special: Chemical, Petrochemical engineer, Instrument, Electrical)
- English: able to read and fully understand
- Microsoft office (word, excel, power point)
- Communication skill: understand & transfer information clearly
- Good Teamwork
