PVTrans OilField Services is a professional provider of maritime transportation and services to the oil and gas industry in Viet Nam and abroad (FSO/FPSO, O&M...). We are now looking for driven, independent and enthusiastic Metering Engineer with experience in the oil and gas industry.
Primary Purpose of Job
To perform all metering activities associated on Sao Vang – Dai Nguyet offshore installation. Ensuring the fiscal gas metering facilities are maintained and operated to relevant legislative standard. Ensure the compliance of company safety policy, contribute in eliminating and reducing risk involved in the jobs.
Education
Bachelor degree in electronics/instrumentation/process engineering.
Experience & Skills
• With minimum 3 years of experience in maintenance of metering system within Oil and Gas industry.
• Working experience of liquid/gas metering system including but not limited to Flow computing/calculation, allocation, AGA8 calculation, ultrasonic metering, Coriolis meter, turbine meter, orifice plates.
• Knowledge of relevant API, AGA, ISO standards.
• Advantageous to have working knowledge of:
1. AGA-8:1994 calculation
2. Uncertainty calculation software package
3. data transfer to allocation server and
4. Fiscal gas and condensate export energy Allocation
• Understand of Gas Chromatograph and associated compositional analysis technique would be an advantage.• Familiar with hydrocarbon accounting regimes in which sales gas and condensate, fuel gas and flare quantities are allocated to different installations & / entities.
• Demonstrate a strong commitment to good safety and environmental work practices.
• Good communication skills in English, both verbally and written.
• Proficient in computer skill.
Salary: Competitive
Working location: Onshore - Vung Tau then moving to offshore work in Q3 - 2020
