PVTrans OilField Services is a professional provider of maritime transportation and services to the oil and gas industry in Viet Nam and abroad (FSO/FPSO, O&M...). PVTrans OilField Services is currently recruiting for an Operations Officer to join our FPSO team as follows:
Specific Accountabilities:
· Prepare, plan and monitor stability, trim, stress and bending moments and co‐ordinate cargo tank loading and ballasting operations.
· Supervise and co‐ordinate maintenance of all ballast and cargo tanks, cargo stowage and offloading systems.
· Discharge of produced water from the cargo and slop tanks within specified limit.
· Carry out tank washing, gas freeing operations, perform gas tests and isolations, issue Confined Space
· Entry Permits and supervise tank entry operations.
· Co‐ordinate and supervise all preparations and checks on board the Facility prior to the berthing of an off-take tanker, including floating hose pressure tests, assembly and disassembly, IG system, off-take meter and prover.
· Co‐ordinate the berthing, un-berthing on the facility side to ensure safe discharge of cargo to the off-take tanker.
· Ensure the Lifting Loft, Lifting Gear Register and Tanker Toolbox register are well maintained with proper certification, correct Colour Code and visual inspections are carried out prior to use as required.
· Monitor consumables and spares to ensure adequate levels are maintained.
· Assist with preparation of daily and other required reports for Operations Department.
· Act as Helicopter Landing Officer (HLO), Flight Follower as required.
· Operate and test GMDSS equipment.
· Calculate and record daily production ullage figures.
· Supervise supply boat loading/discharge operations.
· Maintain and inspect all Safety and Fire Fighting Equipment as per pertinent regulation.
· Act as Safety Officer on board when required, as assigned by Operation Supervisor/ Facility Manager.
Minimum Competencies:
· Certificate of Competency of STCW Deck Officer II/1 or equivalent with Oil Tanker Endorsement
· GMDSS Operators Certificate.
· Other STCW document/certificates of Proficiency such as Advanced Fire Fighting, Medical First Aid & Medical Care, Proficiency in Survival Craft, Rescue Boat & Fast Rescue Boat.
· Knowledge of tanker operations including crude oil washing, inert gas systems and marine safety systems.
· Operating experience on an FPSO/FSO or similar facility.
· Experience with Safety Management system, Facility Management systems and Computer Based Maintenance Management Systems.
· Experience in berthing and un-berthing large vessels at offshore moorings.
· Good communication skills and a good command of English.
