- Duties and Responsibilities for Work:
- Understand basic design drawing such as GA, Technical Specification, Line plans, shell expansion, ect.;
- Read and clear understand all Steel Outfitting drawing;
- Understand basic standards in ship building and ship repair.
- Co-operate with other Supervisor (or other departments) to solve the problems in the best -case way.
- Ensure productivity and quality.
- Arrange manpower to follow up schedule.
- Monitor workers at site and check carefully their work as: accuracy of structures, follow drawing, follow standard, ect..
- Record consumable material effectively according to consumable material norm.
- Spending time visit workshop to monitor quality and progress of the project, ect…
- To report HODs, discuss and raise idea to solve the problems when a problems happen.
- To support other departments to get the general target of company.
- Plan training requirements for new staff to be inducted
- Duties and Responsibilities for Safety:
- Understand safety requirements as: PPE, safety inside confine space, safety when working on high, safely operation oxy-acetylent system, ect…
- Has responsibility checking consumables, tools, equipments, safety and housekeeping inside his (her) work place.
- To know clear all safe permits system and fully carry out permit job for the work.
- Alway remind and train workers to improve safely, quality and professional skill.
- Remind workers perform fully and correctly the company’s rules.
