    POSITION 1: MATERIAL QC ENGINEER

    • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Engineering (Industrial), Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering (Material Science), Engineering (Metal Fabrication/Tool & Die/Welding), Engineering (Marine) or equivalent.
    • Required language(s): English, Vietnamese
    • At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
    • Preferably candidates specializing in Quality Control/Assurance or equivalent.

    Job Description

    Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities/Trách nhiệm và nhiệm vụ chính

    QC Material Engineer shall be responsible to liaise with warehouse personnel to check incoming raw materials, pipe fittings, instruments, equipments, mechanical packages etc and verify the materials during fabrication processes, the following inspection activities shall be applied:
    • Jointly check the incoming materials with warehouse personnel against PO & certificates
    • Review the certificates against spec and applicable codes
    • Check the storage conditions against the yard practice and manufacturer’s recommendation
    • Prepare the Good inwards inspection report (GIIR)
    • Verify and ensure the traceability of materials during fabrication process.
    • Prepare the material traceability report
    • Issue the NCR or OSD when the materials not complied with PO or spec.
    • Liaise with surveyor or client to verify and review the materials
    • Report to Quality Manager and inform to other QC engineer any inspection results, Discrepancy, NCR, … which founded during inspection.
    • Weekly report to Quality Manager

    • Perform other duties when required by Manager.

    • To manage class surveyors and client representative on site and shipyard for materials inspection activities.

    • To work closely with relative department in SMV and class surveyors and client representative for inspection activities.

    • All Quality documentation and information to be managed and control according to SMV procedures.

    POSITION 2: HSE OFFICER
    • Candidate must possess at least a Certificate/Diploma, College Degree, Bachelor's Degree, Engineering (Environmental/Health/Safety) or equivalent.
    • Required language(s): English, Vietnamese
    • At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
    • Preferably Senior Staff/Team Leader/Supervisors specializing in Engineering - Environmental/Health/Safety or equivalent.

    Job Description


    Main Activities / Tasks (Principal Accountabilities) :
    - Conducts scheduled and unscheduled inspections of project or area of responsibilities and work site facilities and locations to ensures compliance with applicable codes, regulations, guidelines and procedures.
    - Observes work in progress, ensures that proper safety equipment is worn and procedures are followed.
    - Endorses permit to work on daily basis.
    - Attend daily vessel safety coordination committee meeting if required.
    - Notifies project management staff and HSE head regarding violations of safety regulations, procedures and codes.
    - Analyzes hazards and develops risk assessments for areas and work sites.
    - Develops HSE plans, procedures and guidelines to minimize risk to employees.
    - Records and summarizes results and prepares recommendations based upon study results.
    - Prepares a variety of narrative and statistical reports, correspondence and other written materials.
    - Maintains accurate records and files relating to HSE issues.
    - Performs a variety of tests using sophisticated testing equipment.
    - Provide safety induction, briefing, toolbox talks and training in both areas of HSE practices to all employees, subcontractors’ employees, visitors and client personnel.
    - Reviews accidents and makes recommendation for prevention of similar future incidents / accidents.
    - Makes recommendations for corrections and follows-up to ensure that violations have been corrected.
    - Evaluates concerns and alternatives, resolves complaints and makes recommendations to head of project for corrective action, as required.
    - Serves as a member of the emergency response team, identifies potentially dangerous situations in an emergency and effects solutions and implements responsibilities as delegated during emergency response situations.
    - Prepares HSE guidelines as requested by project management team or clients if required.
    - Identify, recommend and address changes as necessary.
    - Analyze accidents, communicate training needs and reports.
    - Assist in the development of HSE policies, procedures and standards.
    - Participate in accident/incidents prevention program and the investigation on accidents and incidents.
    - Attend all meetings if required.
    - Performs others related duties as assigned or requested.

    Knowledge and Skills:
    - Good written and verbal communication English skills.

    Experience:
    - Shipbuilding and ship repairing industry experience with proven service in a supervisory position in the field of HSE preferred.
    - A sound understanding of risk assessment and HSE management systems.
    - Experience in auditing preferred.



    POSITION 3: TRAINING HSE OFFICER
    • Candidate must possess at least a Certificate/Diploma, College Degree, Bachelor's Degree, Engineering (Environmental/Health/Safety) or equivalent.
    • Required language(s): English, Vietnamese
    • No work experience required.

    A. Responsibility
    1. To prevent accidents occurring in area of responsibility
    2. To educate workers working in safety officer’s area of responsibility on safe practices.
    B. Duties
    1. Assist SO in control of safety at the worksite.
    2. Attend any safety training course id required.
    3. Assist SO in preventing accident
    4. Assist SO in the maintenance / inspection of safety equipment of painting color code for lifting appliances, gears.
    5. Patrol worksite daily and find unsafe acts, unsafe condition.
    6. Assist safety officer in investigating accidents, near miss incident, ect.
    7. To report any hazard / unsafe situation / poor working condition to Safety Officer.
    8. To report to Safety Officer in implementing safety measures have been proposed.
    9. Assist in emergency response.
    10. Carry out any tasks in safe and efficient manner, as directed by Safety Officer.
    11. Liaises with Safety Officer on day to day operations

    Knowledge and Skills:
    - Able to communicate English preferred.
    - Understanding of health, safety and environment or fire prevention principles preferred.

    - Possess certificates related to HSE field.
    - Experience at safety work preferred.
    - Possess intermediate level at professional school at least.

    Experience:
    - Shipbuilding and ship repairing industry experience in the field of HSE preferred.
    - A basic understanding of HSE preferred.

    POSITION 5: MECHANICAL SUPERVISOR
    • Candidate must possess at least Technical & Vocational, Certificate/Diploma, College Degree, Engineering (Mechanical) or equivalent.
    • At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
    • Preferably Senior Staff/Team Leader/Supervisors specializing in Engineering - Mechanical/Automotive or equivalent.

    Skills/Kỹ năng:
    • Interpret full drawing mechanical installation
    • Can operate line boring machine
    • Can make lay out reference line related to machineries installation
    • Can Identify the correct types of lubrication to use the equipment
    • Can read measuring device such as Micro meter ,calliper, torque wrench and etc
    • Understand hydraulic Equipment system

    • Supervises and coordinate other teams, works planning and execution
