PVTrans Oilfield Service has a vacancy for a multi-skill Lab Technician for Sao Vang – Dai Nguyet project. If you are looking for a company to utilize your skills and not feel like a number then this job could be the place for you.
Primary Purpose of Job
To perform a wide range of physical and/ or chemical analysis on the process influents and effluents, water and other utility stream samples in accordance with established international standard test methods to monitor plant performance and quality certification of products being utilized on the platform and exported or discharged from the facility.
Education
• Bachelor degree or above with major in chemistry or chemical analysis.
Experience & Skills
• 3 - 5 years-experience in a laboratory from a petroleum refinery / petrochemical / oil and gas separation plants.
• Previous work in the offshore oil and gas will be an advantage.
• Working knowledge of oil and gas separation plants, understanding and exposure to process operation, would be preferred.
• Must be competent in isolations for high pressure gas samples.• Sound understanding and knowledge of ASTM Laboratory Testing Standards for the oil and gas equivalent.
• COSHH Assessor.
• Familiar with the application of computerized maintenance management systems.
• Demonstrated awareness and sensitivity to environmental health and safety issues.
• Effective communication skills (written, oral) and computer literate.
• Ability to understand and react with diverse offshore / onshore groups and operations.
• Proficient in English both written and verbal
Salary: Competitive
Working location: Onshore - Vung Tau then moving to offshore work in Q3 - 2020
