    Purpose:
    • Theincumbentis a memberof Reporting&ServiceTeam,reportingtoChiefAccountantwith majorresponsibilityformanagingrobustinareasofTaxpreparationandadvisoryusing his/herknowledgeoftaxlegislationensuringTaxesarepaidincompliancewithTaxLawas well asinthe mostefficientwayand benefitfromtaxadvantagesandexemptions if any;
    • MaximizeVATrefund;
    • ControlG&ACostAllocation,accountingentries,Netsharereconciliationandother objectives.
    MainAccountabilitiesandResponsibilities:

    1. Tax Services
    • Keep uptodatewithchanges ofTaxlaws;
    • AdviseFinanceandOtherDepartmentsonTaximplementation andTax Impactsmakingsure companyisincompliancewithTaxregulation;
    • Gather and process data for preparationof monthly/quarterly/yearlytaxreturnsof WHT, VATand business license taxand associatedwith journal entriesforall Blocks;makingsure full compliancewithtaxrequirements;
    • PreparetheAnnualTaxfinalization andsubmissiontoTaxAuthority(if any);
    • TimelysubmitTaxReturn/VATrefund ClaimtotheTaxAuthorityandfollowingup until the claimsarerefunded;
    • ReconcileandclearTaxaccounting ledgers;
    • SupportHR in providing data toTaxServicesCompany for monthlyExpatPITreturns. It’s requiredtoclassifystaff salaryand benefits in detailedcategoriese.g.Taxand NonTaxable incometominimizetaximpacts;
    • Prepareandsubmitreports required bytheTaxAuthority including reportfor usage ofVAT invoice;
    • Coordinatefor TaxAudit when required;
    • EstimateCashRequired forTaxPayables.

    2. General & Administration (G&A) Cost Allocation
    • InputandcheckTimesheetand Headcountreportinthecostallocationmodule
    • CheckG&A Costsfrom accountingsystemmakingsurethatcosts arebooked fullyand properly;
    • MonitorG&A costagainstexternal/internal budget. Investigateand adjustaccordinglyif any differences;
    • PrepareG&Aallocationand inputentriesmakingsurecostare properlyallocatedto Blocks ona fairbasis and incompliancewiththeallocationmethod approved byPartners andPVN;
    • IssueDebitNoteto backchargecostallocation between Blocks andensurequarterlyclear outtheIntercompany Accounts.

    3. Accounting Booking & SAP processing
    • Prepareand postentries for tax relatedtransactionse.g. Business licensetax,WHT, PIT, VAT, Local&expatssalary;
    • Prepareand postaccruals for staff salary&benefitsthatarenotinvoiced andthen reverse them inthefollowingmonth;
    • Reconcile andclear allaccounts fortaxes, staff costs;
    • BeinchargeofFX(UXD, RXD)reallocationat monthend/quarterend accountingclose;
    • Reconcileof Company funding, postentriesfor overhead, clear intersection, Capitalization at month-end/quarter endaccountingclose;
    • Contactwith SAPteamandworkwiththemtosolveprobleminthesystem(if any).

    4. Netshare report
    • Runcutbackprocess intheSAPandcheckresultmakingsure outputarecorrectlycalculated;
    • Netsharecalculation,maintainLedgerZA in accountingsystem and issueIFRSreport;
    • MakesureIFRSreports (Netshare) fromtheSAP arefullyreconciledwiththeone reported in Mastro.

    5. Ad-hoc workasrequired
    • Quarterly prepareforreport ofPaymentsto Authorities;
    • Yearly prepareandmaintain local files for transfer pricing purpose.

    Health,SafetyandEnvironment (HSE)
    • Complywith rulesandstandards described inCompanyPolicies, HSE Integrated ManagementSystem andProcedures;
    • Reportall incidents;
    • Motivatecolleagues tocomplywith HSE rules andstandards;
    • Participatein HSE relatedinitiatives ensuringtheproper spreading and informationwithin thedepartment;
    • Ensurethecompliance, within, theresponsibilities,ofcontractors oncompany’sHSE Standards, regulatorydocumentsand anyother process;
    • Contributeproactivelytosupportcompanyin reachingtheHSE assignedobjectives;
    • Participatein HSE relatedinitiatives.

    MainInterfaces:

    • INTERNAL :All departments
    • EXTERNAL : Partners, Company SpA,TaxAuthority.
    Qualifications&Experience:
    • Universitydegrees inEconomics, Finance, BusinessAdministration, Bankingor Accounting;
    • Vietnamesenationwith proficiencyinspokenandwrittenEnglish;
    • 5yearsofworkingexperiencewithatleast3yearsinPetroleumIndustry;
    • CompetentinMSoffice(Excel, Word, Power Point);
    • Competentin AccountingSoftware.
