QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Experience:
- Minimum 03 years experienced in the Offshore Oil and Gas Industry with proven service in a supervisory position in the field of Health, Safety and Environment.
- Understanding of risk assessment and safety management systems.
- Knowledge on SOLAS, MARPOL, COSWP, LSA & FSS code.
- Proficiency in supervising health, safety and environment functions of an operational nature.
- Experience in administering safety and health training programs.
- Experience in auditing.
Qualification:
- Formal Safety qualifications desirable but not essential, providing a suitable level of knowledge and experience can be displayed. A demonstrable strong commitment to safety, health and the environment is essential to this position.
- Knowledge of Health, Safety and Environmental standards applicable to the industry.
- A Marine Degree for Deck officer/Degree in the Health, Safety & Environmental/ NEBOSH National Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety is preferred.
- Training on Enclosed/Confined spaces, Use of Gas Meters , Scaffold inspection,
- BOISET, Tanker Safety Course
