Minimum requirements:
- Minimum 5 years’ HSE experience in Marine industry, preferably in oil and gas industry.
- Educational Qualification: Bachelor Engineering in Mechanical/Production/Marine or equivalent.
- Deep understanding of legal health and safety guidelines.
- Ability in producing reports and developing relevant policies.
- Good knowledge of data analysis and risk assessment.
- Excellent organizational and motivational skills.
- Outstanding attention to detail and observation ability.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Leadership and teamwork skills.
- Proficiency in English both written and spoken.
- Develop and execute OHS policies and programs in the workplace according to legal guidelines.
- Evaluate, assess and alter current QHSE procedures and policies as required.
- Evaluate practices, procedures and facilities to assess risk and adherence to the laws and company’s procedure.
- Conduct training and presentations for health and safety matters and accident prevention.
- Monitor compliance to policies and laws by inspecting employees and operations.
- Inspect equipment and machinery to observe possible unsafe conditions.
- Recommend solutions to issues, improvement opportunities or new prevention measures.
- Report on health and safety awareness, issues and statistics.
- Collate information on injuries and damage, produce monthly statistics, assess accident trends and advise DPA on overall safety performance.
