The purpose of this role is to carry out the assigned duties, which include but no limit to: Prepare steel outfit, arrangement and safety plan drawing packages for submission to Classification Societies. Prepare weight estimates with a focus on outfit weight estimating. Take part in projects technical reviews and demonstrate leadership and inter-discipline understanding. Participate in team working environment, both intra-office and inter-office. Qualifications Required: Bachelor degree within Naval, Marine or Mechanical engineer. Experience Required: Have experience on outfit design, typically with five to ten years post-graduation experience in shipyards or engineering offices. Other Requirements: Have knowledge of Classification Society Rules, IMO Regulations and other relevant industry standards. Have an advanced working knowledge of 2D drafting (AutoCAD) and 3D modeling. Fluent in written and spoken English and can complete work within budget and deadlines.
