MINIMUM COMPETENCIES/ JOB DESCRIPTION:
1. ELECTRICAL ENGINEER
- To be the technical focal point for all electrical governance, advice and support other teams on all electrical related activities.
- Provide technical electrical review to form critical mass for the preparation, build and deployment of CMMS and AIMS systems.
- Provide necessary input electrical data on RAM (Reliability Availability Maintainable) modelling review which include all electrical equipment’s together with maintenance schedules.
- Review RCM (Reliability Centred Maintenance) equipment criticality assessment and risk base inspection (if required) for electrical equipment’s.
- Review electrical maintenance strategies, procedures, performance standards, maintenance routines base on risk assessment and measures required to optimize on risk mitigation.
- Develop electrical equipment inspection schemes that interface with plan maintenance system.
- Review and develop electrical asset register and hierarchy for CMMS data setup.
- Develop generic maintenance strategies for each typical types of electrical equipment’s.
- Review recommend spare part listing and identify necessary spare parts & consumables for electrical equipment’s.
- Identify requirement electrical procedures for training and competency
- Provide a timely and efficient delivery of high quality support on electrical issues to ensure safe, efficient and reliable operation of offshore facilities on operation phase.
- For the installation of any new electrical equipment, assist in the preparation of specifications, selection of suppliers, review of vendor data, factory acceptance testing, liaison with other disciplines on packages, support to offshore during installation and commissioning.
- Participate in the investigations of all electrical equipment failures.
- Ensure the management of electrical equipment in hazardous areas is being correctly applied on the offshore facilities.
- Ensure through audit that electrical maintenance is being performed in accordance with all codes and best practices and in compliance with all procedures and maintenance routines.
- Operation technical support: technical review of PRs, spare requirements, min-max level; Contractor/ vendor management; assist with MOC process, CMMS improvement and audit; Onshore QA/QC and premobilization inspection related to electrical equipment’s.
Minimum competencies:
- Significant experience and degree qualified in Electrical Engineering
- Technical professional within electrical equipment engineering with 3 – 5 years experiences in project and operations oil & gas industrial.
- Knowledge and skills of preventive, predictive and corrective electrical maintenance techniques.
- Knowledge and experience with CMMS system.
- Proficient in English both written and oral.
