Specific Accountabilities:
- Monitor workplace activities to ensure that all crew comply with company policies and government safety regulations.
- Generate PTW and control, supervise and maintain the works safely.
- Carry out regular site inspections and most of the time is concentrated on site supervision to closed monitor and report to FSO Master if any unsafe or unsafe acts from crew/contractors.
- Provide and support in managing health, safety and environmental issues including hazard identification, risk assessment for the removal, mitigation or control of workplace hazards.
- Oversee with relevant HODs the integrity of equipment for Emergency Response
- Plans and Oil Spill Response Plans. Co-ordinate Emergency Response exercises, drills and exercises on FSO.
- Maintain and good control of safety equipment, lifting gear in state of readiness with its certificates in valid condition at all times.
- Carry out other tasks assigned by Captain related to HSE concerns/issues
- Min 02 years experienced in the Offshore Oil and Gas Industry with proven service in a supervisory position in the field of Health, Safety and Environment.
- A sound understanding of risk assessment and safety management systems.
- Knowledge of Health, Safety and Environmental Quality, ILO, OHAS standards applicable to the industry.
- Graduated from University/College.
