The purpose of this role is to carry out the assigned duties, which include but no limit to: Take inspection of surface preparations, painting work in compliance with the approved inspection, test plan and quality requirements as per building specification. Coordinate to incoming goods inspection of materials, ensure that painting materials are used for the job as specific requirements and within the shelf life. Work with Classification Society, Ship Owner to get recommendation to take corrective actions immediately. Co-operate with concerning production departments to take pre-inspection and report issued properly. Collect all information to make daily Request for Inspection (RFI), and get all inspection report properly. Organize quality meeting if necessary. Maintain all records of inspection. Report to Quality Manager all issues related to the assigned project. Qualifications Required: Bachelor degree within Naval, Marine or General Engineering. Experience Required: Minimum 3-year working experience in the same position. Shipyard or heavy industries experience (Power plant, refinery); Other Requirements: Understand about the requirements relating surface treatment and painting such as: NACE, BGAS CSWIP or FROSIO, IMO PSPC, ISO. Strong technical knowledge in surface treatment and painting. Good working methods, well-organized. Fluently English written and spoken mandatory. Computing skills in full suite of MS Application. Certified NACE 2 or equivalent certificate is advantageous.
