Austal Vietnam (Đường số 5, khu công nghiệp đông xuyên, TP Vũng Tàu - BRVT) is seeking the candidate for Structural Design Engineer position (5 Persons) :

Ø Major duties:
- Complete design tasks as allocated by Superintendent/ Design Manager.
- Produce production details in conjunction with relevant line managers .
- Ensure designs comply with technical specification.
- Ensure designs comply with Class and Flag requirements.
- Assist with conducting inclining experiments, lightship survey.
- Work produced is of a high quality and consistent with Austal and Design standards.
- Tasks are undertaken as per the approved process and procedures.
- Rework is kept to an absolute minimum.
- Bachelor of Engineering (Naval Architect) or equivalent
- Knowledge of regulatory body Rules and Regulations requirements.
- > 3 years relevant experience.
- Experience in Drafting within the Marine Industry.
- Proficient in Drafting software, Autocad, Shipconstructor and Microsoft office suite.
- Basic understanding of materials and their compatibility in a marine environment.
- Be skilled in 3D modelling.
- Proficient both in Vietnamese & English : listening, speaking, reading and writing
- Annual salary review based on employee's performance and contribution and another salary review in a year for employees with really excellent performance 13th salary
