1. MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR

To provide leadership to the maintenance team in all activities on the SV-CPP facility and associated well head platform DN-WHP. Stand in OIM.
  • Minimum Competencies: (Skills required to accomplish this role effectively)
  • High school diploma and Technologist or discipline trade certification 10 years related experience in the oil & gas / petrochemical industry.
  • Previous experience in a supervisory position (2 years).
  • Familiar with the development and application of computerized maintenance management systems.
  • Demonstrated skill in development of reliability-centred maintenance system.
  • Thorough understanding of rotating equipment, computerized instrumentation systems, power generation and distribution.
  • Broad working knowledge of Mechanical, Instrumentation, Electrical trades.
  • Proven planning and cost management awareness.
  • Experience with personnel training and competence assurance.
  • Working knowledge of all Company policies and procedures as well as industry and regulatory codes relating to the function.
  • Experience with personnel training and competence assurance. Preferential L&D9di - A1/A2 - D32/33 competency assessor accreditation.
  • Demonstrated awareness and sensitivity to environmental health and safety issues.
  • Leadership and teamwork skills / behaviours.
  • Effective communication skills (written, oral and computer).
  • Ability to recognize and resolve conflict.
  • Demonstrated command and crisis-management capability.
  • Proficient in English both written and verbal.
  • Proven ability to deliver and manage appropriate OJT.
2. MECHANICAL TECHNICIAN

To ensure that all equipment is safely and effectively maintained in accordance with PROJECT expectations, Regulatory and other relevant codes and standards. To assist, where competent, other team members in the safe and efficient operation of the FPSO.

Specific Accountabilities: (Results this role is expected to accomplish)

Reporting to the Lead Mechanical Technician and/or Maintenance Supervisor, accountabilities include:

  • Maintain integrity and perform safe and efficient maintenance of all mechanical systems and equipment in accordance with established procedures
  • Performing rotating equipment and vibration analysis for all rotating equipments on top side
  • Understand and follow all rules and procedures
  • Report all hazardous conditions, near misses and accidents
  • Demonstrate the culture that no job is so routine or urgent that it cannot be done safely
  • Effective planning, coordination and communication of daily mechanical maintenance activities
  • Adherence to Control Of Work system while carrying out all activities
  • Respond quickly and effectively to problems / breakdowns
  • Responsible for all assigned system/location ownership
  • Willingness and flexibility to be trained in all aspects of FPSO operations
  • Willingness to train and be part of an offshore emergency response team.
  • To be owner of the specific equipment / systems as assigned by Supervisor;
Minimum Competencies: (Skills required to accomplish this role effectively)
  • Mechanical Technologist or Trade Certificate in Heavy Duty Mechanics or Millwright
  • 5years related experience in an industrial maintenance environment (preferably in the offshore or petrochemical / refinery industry)
  • Working knowledge of regulatory and industry codes applicable to the mechanical discipline
  • Working knowledge of process / vessel related mechanical equipment
  • Working knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance, condition monitoring and with the application of computerized maintenance management systems
  • Familiarity with the theory and practice of rotating equipment and vibration analysis
  • Experience with the operation and maintenance of gas turbine driven generators, diesel engines, multi-stage centrifugal pumps and compressors, HVAC systems, hydraulic systems and associated auxiliary equipment
  • Ability to read relevant technical drawings and piping specifications
  • Machinist skills would be an asset
  • Demonstrated awareness and sensitivity to environmental health and safety issues
  • Effective communication skills (written, oral and computer)
  • Proficient in English both written and verbal.
  • Leadership and teamwork skills / behaviors which support a team based organization.
  • Ability to understand and react with diverse offshore / onshore groups and operations.

3. ROOM STEWARD


Reporting to the Camp Boss / Chief Cook, this position provides housekeeping, cleaning, porter age, food preparation, and laundry services on the FPSO facility.


Specific Accountabilities: (Results this role is expected to accomplish)

Reporting to the Camp Boss / Chief Cook, accountabilities include:

  • Performs cleaning of all rooms and areas in.
  • Provides all galley porter age duties including cleaning equipment, cutlery, crockery, glasses and general housekeeping duties.
  • Performs all galley cleaning and maintenance including defrosting refrigerators, cold room and storage areas, etc.
  • Performs laundry services including bedding, linens, clothing, etc.
  • Conforms to all Occupational, Health, Safety and Hygiene standards.
  • Participates in all training requirements to ensure duties are carried out in a competent manner
  • Adheres to all housekeeping and cleaning schedules.
  • Assists with unloading containers, garbage disposal, etc.
  • Assist with food preparation under the direction of the Chef.
  • Ensures effective equipment operation and reports defects to the Camp Boss / Chief Cook.
  • Performs emergency response duties as required.
  • Daily cleaning of rooms such as dusting and tiding, making of beds, changing of bed linens, towels, toilets, etc.
Minimum Competencies: (Skills required to accomplish this role effectively)
Grade XII or equivalent.

  • 1 – 3 years’ experience in housekeeping and food services (preferably in offshore / remote location).
  • Knowledge of safe working, food preparation practices, and housekeeping/laundry practices.
  • Ability to work under pressure in an environment which expects the highest level of quality &customer service.
  • Ability to meet physical demands of the role including continual standing, walking, bending and lifting of equipment and repetitive task performance.
  • Willingness to take initiative and suggest improvements in services.
  • Effective communication skills (oral).
  • Teamwork skills/behaviors which support team based organization.
  • English language skills.
  • Ability to understand and react with diverse groups and operations.
