Key Responsibilities:
1. Technical Design and Support:
- Make engineering drawings, design, and perform design analysis.
- Verify designs and drawings for compliance with standards, specifications, and Class rules.
- Technically conduct and support production as relevant.
2. Documentation Management:
- Manage drawings, record, provide feedback on, and follow up on all relevant production documentation as assigned.
3. Quality Assurance:
- Oversee the internal QA process, material take-offs, and weight attributes.
4. Standards Compliance:
- Comply with national laws, regulations, and international standards, including ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001/OSHAS18001, SA8000, or any updated and valid standards on management systems, as well as Company regulations.
Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Naval, Marine, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience:
o Have knowledge and experience in hull and steel outfitting.
o Experience in shipyards or heavy industries (e.g., power plants, refineries).
o Experience in cost-oriented design.
o Experience in production support-oriented design (considering the workability of the design).
• Skills & Competencies:
o Fluent in written and spoken English and Vietnamese.
o Strong team mindset, teamwork skills, and understanding of standardization activities.
