NSRP IS LOOKING FOR SENIOR INSTRUMENT ENGINEER WHO MATCHES THE JD BELOW:
* REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor degree (Instrumentation, Automation degrees or equivalent)
- Have at least 7 years experience
- English Skill: IELTS 5.0
- Knowledgeable with the industrial standards and code requirements for process control systems, especiallyProgrammable Logic Controller (PLC), Compressor
- Control Systems (CCS) and Equipment Vibration Monitoring Systems (VMS).
- Have field experience in designing and applying advance process control for industrial facilities.
- Have experience in maintaining field instrumentation and control system inpetrochemical plant, power plant or oil & gas plant.
- Be familiar with maintenance and calibration for field instrumentation equipment, such as control valve, flow instrument, level instrument, pressure instrument etc.
- Capable to effectively review project documentation, drawings, equipment specifications and testing procedures.
- Write reports and design packages to enable implementation of engineering recommendations.

* DESCRIPTION:
A Job Summary
- Instrument Engineer is responsible to provide support services on instrument equipments to the Maintenance Division and to supervise.
- Responsible to provide instrument support services to the Maintenance Division- Responsible to prepare maintenance plan, maintenance procedure, maintenance work step, maintenance check sheet for control systems and instrument equipment.
- Responsible to prepare Job Plan, create Work Order for maintenance works and repair works
- Responsible to supervise and co-ordinate with maintenance contractors in order to perform preventive maintenance for instrumentation equipment. Monitor contractor’s persons and review their report.
- Follow up and control maintenance activities as per maintenance schedule.
- Participate to investigate the root cause for the incident of instrumentation equipment. Make recommendations and report to leader how to repair/how to solve the problem.
- Identify and make the request for material and/or spare parts for instrumentation equipment.
- Participate for procurement activities such as budget preparation, RFQ/ITBD preparation, Bidder evaluation, selection the supplier, etc.
- Co-operate with person in warehouse, in workshop as well as related person in refinery to perform assigned works.
- Provide technical support and expertise in an effort to maintain reliable instrumentation for the refinery. Prepare maintenance procedure and detail work steps when required.
- Identifying areas where instrumentation/controls can improve plant operation and profitability.
- Help shop craftsmen in the analyzing and troubleshooting of failed equipment and rework jobs.
- Be mentor to less experienced engineers in the group.
