POSITION: SENIOR ROTATION EQUIPMENT ENGINEER

* REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor degree (Mechanical degree or equivalent)

• At least Min 7 years
• English Skill : IELTS 5.0
• Skills/Abilities : Basic knowledge in refinery processes and wide range of rotating equipment.
• Must have participated in field problems troubleshooting in oil and gas related industries.
• Must have a thorough knowledsge of engineering practices, international standards, and economic principles related to incumbent's field.
• Write reports and design packages to enable implementation of engineering recommendations.
• Personal Attributes: Passionate dedication to maintaining safe operations enforcing strict conformance with all government regulations, and applicable company procedures and policies.
• Strong decision making abilities under pressure and innovative to generate new ideas.

DESCRIPTION:
Job Summary

• Rotation Equipment Engineer is responsible to provide support services on rotating equipment to the Maintenance Division and to supervise.

Responsibilities:

• Perform root cause analysis techniques.
• Provide technical advice on disassembly and assembly of various types and sizes of mechanical equipment and related components (Pumps, Compressors, Steam Turbines, Air Blowers, Gearboxes, etc.)
• Provide guidance and advice on diagnosis of parts, sizes and clearance of mechanical equipment and its related components.
• Help shop craftsmen in the analyzing and troubleshooting of failed equipment and rework jobs.
• Prepare technical repair work scopes for equipment machining, balancing, welding, testing and/or modification in line with OEM recommended practices, common industry standards (ASME), AWS, API, ASTS, NACE, etc.) and company procedures.
• Compiling all relevant documents like permit to work, P&ID, schematic drawings, vendor drawings, plot plan
• Evaluate new equipment and enable employees training on proper repair and operational techniques.
• Prepare equipment RFQ packages and technical bid evaluations and make vendor suggestions Review vendor design documents and coordinate with vendors during equipment design and fabrication process.
• Specify and review drawings and data for large pumps and rotating equipment for offshore applications.
• Conduct routine and complex engineering, design, analysis and technical tasks.
• Conduct technical leadership role to supervise, coordinate and direct others.
• Develop life cycle costs for rotating equipment repairs and replacement.
• Develop QA/QC standards for rotating equipment repair.
• Prepare equipment technical specifications and data sheets.
• Suggest for spare parts for rotating equipment.
• Function as project manager to identify rotating equipment projects.
• Monitor mechanical engineering interns and co-ops
• Select, coordinate and supervise maintenance contractors for additional support activities when required
• Overseeing application and interpretation of Vietnamese rotating equipment codes and other applicable codes and standards Be mentor to less experienced engineers in the group.
