MINIMUM COMPETANCIES:
1. MATERIAL/ SPARE ENGINEER
- Have knowledge of stock-control systems so that he can effectively record and analyze the movement of material/spare.
- Proven experience as materials Supervisor.
- Experience in shipping and receiving
- Have good negotiating skills so he can obtain the best prices for spares
- Have experience in supply chain and inventory control.
- Good communication skills and a good command of English.
- Preferably from a technical background
- Excellent skills with Microsoft Excel and Word
- Ability to work with DCC data bases. (Document Control Centre.
- Ability to understand Vendor documents and Supplier Document Index.
- Ability to read and understand P&IDs, Electrical, hydraulic Drawings as well as data sheets.
- Understanding of Spare Parts Bills of Materials.
- Ability to work to high standard Quality assurance/ data accuracy.
