1- Control Room Operator
Minimum Competencies
- University degree, Major in Oil and Gas is preferred.
- At least 5 years related experience in the oil/petrochemical industry.
- Previous experience as a control room operator. (2 Years).
- Working knowledge of Distributed Control Systems and computerized control/safety systems.
- Working knowledge of separation, compression, utility systems.
- Under guidance of the Operations Supervisor lead the operations team to deliver required gas and liquid volumes to meet daily/monthly and annual production targets
- Operate the production facilities Sao Vang & Dai Nguyet in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with established parameters, procedures and regulations.
- Report all incidents, near misses and hazardous conditions.
- Control for all field facility processing and utility systems.
- Ensure all work control processes are adhered to on a daily basis
- Ensure that product quality specifications are met.
- Monitor and control of process system, flow lines, and risers according to established procedures.
- Provide direction to Process Operators during normal, upset, start up, shut down and emergency conditions.
- Provide accurate production volume, quality, and metering data for production reporting and accounting.
- Maintain control room daily operating logbook for shift records. As a key member of Emergency Response Team ensure correct emergency procedures are known implemented and keep OIM up to date on plant conditions.
- Responsible for accurate daily production report, production loss reporting and maintain daily activities records.
- Monitor chemical injection equipment and monitor dosage rates of process fluids/gas efficiently.
- Support management of the PTW system, long term isolation register, padlocks/process to ensure that PTW required works properly controlled, coordinated and communicated knowing and understanding work being undertaken on the facilities.
- Responsible to control and maintain fire & gas logs and overrides and inhibits registers and ensure all changes to plant instrumentation are logged and recorded accurately.
- Responsible for ensuring “Equipment out of Service” log/board is accurate
- Responsible to contact with standby/supply vessels within 500 meter zone
Minimum Competencies
- University degree, Major in Oil and Gas is preferred.
- Previous experience in a leadership position. (Minimum 2 years).
- Previous experience as a control room operator. (Minimum 1 Years).
- Knowledge of well operations including CPP/WHP well completion, stimulation, water injection, gas lift operations.
- Understanding and able to use type of process controlled software (ICS, DCS) used for the installations such as working knowledge of Distributed Control Systems and computerized control/safety systems, etc.
- Leadership and direction of process operators (Production Technician and Laboratory Technician) during shift.
- Control of all production processing, leadership to process operators to control and measurement of process variables during process operations and related to utility systems
- Leadership to process operators to control and measurement of operating figures for all production wells, production manifolds at daily operations as per requirements.
- Planning, Coordination and Communication of all shift operations activities.
- Application of quality processes and continuous improvement tools.
- Monitor production volumes, product quality.
- Follow all control of work processes on a daily basis. (i.e. permit to work, lockout, tag out) including undertaking roles such as Performing Authority, Isolating Authority, Area Authority Designate, Authorised Gas Tester.
- Support management of the PTW system, long term isolation register, padlocks/process to ensure that PTW required works properly controlled, coordinated and communicated knowing and understanding work being undertaken on the facilities
- Liaise with logistics and planning accountant for order/call-out, stores, spare gears, chemicals and monitor production consumption materials.
- Coordinate and supervise Vendors/Contractors for related works
- Ensure chemical injection equipment and dosage rates of process fluids/gas efficiently
- To supervise various laboratory analyses: oil/water ...in accordance with procedures.
- Core member of offshore emergency response team.
- Follow up with other departmental activities which were ordered by Operations Supervisor (including housekeeping, corrosion control activities...etc.…)
- Responsible for Department Activities Tracking (weekly, monthly etc…), make sure the activities are done in a safe and timely manner.
