PVTrans Oilfield Service is looking for experienced and driven Lead Electrical Engineers for Sao Vang – Dai Nguyet Project.
Specific Accountabilities:
· Senior Authority for all matters of electrical safety on the Facility.
· Responsible for the control and safety of all electrical equipment on the platform.
· Carry out planned preventative, remedial and breakdown maintenance in accordance with maintenance management system.
· Comply with all relevant HS&E policies and procedures where appropriate.
· Respond to breakdowns in a timely manner and carry out and apply effective fault finding and investigation techniques.
· Manage & supervise team effectively.
· Monitor and maintain environmental control measures.
· Emergency response role (see station bill).
- Carry out Emergency Response role as per Station Bill.
- Demonstrate competence during Emergency Response Drills and training exercises.
· Training & competency.
- Achieve the desired competency level as described in the CASYs Job Competency Profile, mentor and assess others within your sphere of responsibility or as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor

Minimum Competencies:
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Displays Leadership skills.
• Accredited Competency Assessor Qualification Preferred.
• Sources electrical technical manufacturer information.
• Practices Electrical Safe Working Practices.
• Can apply first aid for electrical injuries.
• Maintains Hazardous areas and EX certified Equipment.
• Conducts Electrical Isolations MV & LV.
• Conducts MV / LV Switching.
• Maintains Power / Protection Relays.
• Maintains Power Generation and Distribution.
• Maintains Motors.
• Maintenance of Electrical Switchgear & Operations.
• UPS Operation & Maintenance.
• Conducts Black Start Procedure.
• Work Place Assessor Proficient in English both written and verbal.
Salary: Competitive
Working location: Onshore - Vung Tau then moving to offshore work in Q2 2020

- The Electrical Lead Technician will exhibit exemplary safety and supervisory leadership in all matters pertaining Electrical maintenance works.
- The Lead Electrical Technician is the Senior Authorized Electrical Person and the delegated authority to ensure the safety of the facilities electrical system.
- The Electrical Lead Technician is responsible for all the control and safety of work carried out on the Facility electrical systems.
- The Lead Electrical Technician is responsible for ensuring his subordinates are competent to carry out their allotted tasks and will liaise effectively with other key management personnel, subcontractors, inspectors, and external ad hoc services.
