Key Responsibilities:
1. Team Management:
Manage a team of 15 to 20 workers responsible for building steel outfitting parts.
Develop and implement weekly and monthly work plans for the team.
Organize tasks to achieve HSE, Quality, Milestone, and budget targets within a challenging environment.
Develop the skills of the workers and participate in their training programs.
2. Collaboration for Goal Achievement
- Collaborate closely with Engineering and Planning departments to achieve the targets.
3. Safety and Sanitation Management
Guide, inspect and urge regularly employees under their management authority to comply with processes measures for safe working; to manage, use well the personal protective equipment, safe devices and equipment for medical emergencies.
Organize workplace of ensuring safety – occupational sanitation; combine with safe – hygienic doing workers to perform well the self-inspection foe detection and timely treatment of threats to the safety and health arising in the course of labor and production.
Promptly report to the superiors all phenomena that is lack of safety – occupational sanitation in the production that team cannot be settled and the case of happening occupational accidents, equipment break down for taking timely remedies.
Review and assess the status of safety – occupational sanitation and the observance of regulations on safety – occupational in the meeting session for self-review of the situation of the labor and production of the team.
Team Leader has the right to refuse the acceptance of the persons who are not qualified and qualification on technique of safety – occupational sanitation to work; to refuse the acceptance of the job or suspension of the work if there is any dangers to life and health of their members and report promptly to the superiors for handling.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Naval, Marine, or General Engineering.
Experience:
Shipbuilding or ship repair experience.
People and works solid management experience.
Shipbuilding technical issues interest.
Skills & Competencies:
Strong team spirit.
Methodical and organized approach to work.
English written and spoken mandatory.
Basic computer skills.
