2. GENERAL JOBS
- Supporting the HSEQ Manager on related matters pertinent to the Health and Quality system as established by contract requirements, regulatory requirements and company policies and procedures
3.1. Operational Technical
- Establish and maintain a well-developed knowledge of the business structures, commercial objectives and technical business of Thien Nam Offshore Services Jsc in order to understand and facilitate communication of organisational needs
- Apply well developed and effective use of word-processing, spreadsheet and presentations
a. Communication
- Liaise effectively with client, company management and all levels of personnel
- Attend and positively contribute to shift Tool Box Talks
- Attend and positively contribute to project safety meetings
- Attend when requested risk assessment and task hazard identification meetings
c. Legal and Contracting
Apply a detailed knowledge of HSE Law effectively in the process of:
- Contracting with individuals
- Setting policies/procedures
- Dealing with HSE issues and events
- Providing general advice and guidance to colleagues
- Utilise appropriate methods and systems to manage time in a highly effective manner. This will include agenda setting, prioritisation and the conduct of meetings to achieve stated objectives within budgeted space of time
- Source appropriate training and development provision from both within and out with TOS
- Observe requirements of HSEQ system
- Ensure all employees are made aware of HSEQ Policy and accountability for safety
- Maintaining an open and positive safety culture
- Maintaining a continuous improvement programme
- Maintaining performance monitoring routines
- Maintain the company undesired event reporting system and monitor the close out of actions assigned
- Support operational and non-operational staff in recognising and implementing company safety policies and objectives
- Promote and maintain safe and effective working practices that are in compliance with legislation, company policy and procedure
- To seek best practice and knowledge from others within the oil and gas industry and promote where such practice and knowledge can improve company performance
- Qualified to degree level or 2-years experience in one of the related disciplines
- TOIEC 650+ or an equivalent qualification
