To monitor, assist to start-up and shutdown process, and prepare equipment for maintenance/inspection according to established procedures and good operating practices on a rotational shift basis, ensure that process and utility systems are operated within defined safe operating limits and perform minor routine maintenance on related unit equipment.
Reports to the Senior Production Technician/CRO.
SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS:
High School diploma and Technologist or Industry Certification.

Reports to the Senior Production Technician/CRO.
SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS:
- Operate on site production and process system under control from Control Room Operator and Senior Production Technician safely in accordance with established procedures and regulations
- Routine inspection of all related pressure systems and rotating equipment.
- Carry out measurement of process variables, production figures at site as scheduled set by Operations Supervisor or Snr Production technician and records for daily logbook.

- Able to read and understand P&ID, Cause & Effect Diagram.
- Observe and monitor directly process operating at site and report any abnormal condition to CRO for effective and safe supports.
- Follow all control of work processes on a daily basis. (i.e. permit to work, lockout, tag out) including undertaking roles such as Performing Authority, Isolating Authority, Area Authority Designate, Authorised Gas Tester.
- Monitor, control, and perform 1st line maintenance on production process systems.
- Adhere to CPP/Department standing instruction all the time.
- Responsible for daily log sheet reading and report immediately to Senior Production Technician for any abnormal parameters.
- Following (weekly, monthly etc.) and coordinate with Control Room Operator and Senior Production Technician to implement all activities as scheduled. Using Tracking Tools available.
High School diploma and Technologist or Industry Certification.
- 2 years related experience in the oil/petrochemical industry.
- Able to read and understand P&ID, Cause & Effect Diagram.
- Working knowledge of process separation, compression, utility systems.
- Thorough understanding of related production equipment and systems on the installation.
- Ability and willingness train/rotate through all operating units and CCR on a regular basis.
- Willingness to train and develop in cross-functional areas of CPP and wellhead platform operations.
- Leadership and teamwork skills/ behaviours
