PURPOSE


The position is accountable for developing and executing the company sales and marketing strategies in order to achieve the company objectives regarding revenue, profitability and market share.


PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Assists in developing and executing the sales and marketing programs to achieve the company objectives regarding revenue, profitability and market share.
  • Assists in analyzing the sales and marketing programs and adjusting strategy and tactics to increase effectiveness.
  • Assists in preparing tariff, quotations and customer contracts.
  • Assists to coordinate customer issues with relevant departments as needed.
  • Works closely with Commercial Manager to attract customers and promotes highly professional relationship to the various levels within customers’ organization.
  • Maintains customer database.
  • Maintains relationship with key accounts
  • Provides post events reports, analysis and monthly reports and presentation on commercial and other marketing activities.
  • Oversees Media and Communication requirements of the company (Website update, Press release, promotional materials, events etc) & ensures that a consistent and high corporate standard is maintained.
  • Assists in ensuring that a continuous knowledge of industry & market trends and statistical data is available.
  • Meets customers and maintains good relationship with internal and external customers and related stakeholders to ensure smooth implementation of the agreed terms and conditions stated the customers’ commercial contracts.
  • Collects and analyzes data of competitors’ sales tactics
  • Works as directed by the Commercial Manager, General Director, and Deputy General Director in other ad-hoc tasks related to the Commercial functions of the Company and within skill level and ability.
  • The position is responsible for considering and ensuring the confidentiality of all works, documents and information received during the course of work performance with due diligence and not to disclose any confidential information to any third-party for any purpose that is related to the company’s business during and after the employment with SSIT.
  • The position has the responsibility to read, acknowledge understanding, stay updated and set good example of compliance with the company’s policies stipulated in various regulations, guides and manuals.
  • Other duties assigned by manager as and when required.
CRITICAL QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

  • Requires a University degree in business preferably in sales/marketing.
  • Requires at least 5 years of direct marketing/sales experience in the Container Transportation and relevant Sales and Marketing experience (B2B) in other industry
  • Must be familiar with best practices in the industry, with respect to marketing, sales, and business development.
  • Requires good analytical skills, including the ability to extract, compile and analyze data.
  • Requires excellent presentation and negotiation skills
  • Must be able to prepare reports and PowerPoint presentations in English and Vietnamese.
  • Have ability to collect market data and up-to-date information of competitors’ capacity and performance.
  • Must be able to handle company information with confidentiality and discretion.
  • Must have the ability to be proactive & show initiative in being able to anticipate external customer needs.
  • Requires ability to communicate fluently in both English and Vietnamese.
