PVTrans Oilfield Services is searching for Maintenance Engineer to join our team and works on FPSO/FSO.
Specific Accountabilities:
  • Gas compressors for FPSO topside, including auxiliaries gas cooling fans, oil coolers, gas heat exchangers.
  • HVAC systems on WHP & FPSO (E-house, Mess room, Telecom room, Accommodation HVAC, ERC Air Cons, Food Freezers)
  • Understanding High pressure & Low pressure Boilers system, steam turbine, diesel engine, gearbox, pumps, air compressors, heat exchangers,
  • Piping spec, all kind of valves
  • Knowledge and experience on class society survey
  • Technical Authority focal point for Gas Compressors
  • Daily operation technical support: technical review of PRs, spare requirements, min-max level; Contractor/ vendor management; assist with MOC/MCC process, Maisy improvement and audit; Onshore QA/QC and premob inspection.
  • Day to day management of the MAISY maintenance management system including critical equipment and systems like gas compressors, diesel engines, HVAC etc. (optional)
Perform Technical Onshore Support Engineer’s tasks as below:
  • Provide a timely and efficient delivery of high quality engineering, maintenance support to ensure the safe, efficient and reliable operation of equipment on the offshore facilities including critical equipment and systems like boilers, steam turbines, gas compressor, pumps, valves, vessels, air compressors, Food Freezers, Accommodation Air Conditioner.
  • To be technical focal point for assigned mechanical and rotating equipment technical support for offshore maintenance supervisor and his mechanical technicians on all mechanical related activities and provide a timely and efficient delivery of high quality mechanical and rotating equipment maintenance support to ensure the safe, efficient and reliable operation of mechanical and rotating equipment on the offshore facilities.
  • Ensure through audit that maintenance works are being performed in accordance with all codes and best practices and in compliance with all procedures and maintenance routines
  • To coordinate assigned mechanical maintenance and mechanical engineering issues related to procuring new and replacement equipment, mechanical spare parts and consumables and ensuring the correct specifications for equipment are quoted to vendors when ordering and meet these specifications when supplied.
  • For the installation of any new mechanical equipment will assist in the preparation of specifications, selection of suppliers, review of vendor data, factory acceptance testing, liaison with other disciplines on packages, support to offshore during installation and commissioning.
  • Participate in the investigations of assigned mechanical equipment failures
  • Review maintenance strategies, procedures, routines and plans including any campaign maintenance for mechanical and rotating equipment.
  • Responsible for managing support contracts for assigned mechanical equipment
Minimum Competencies:
  • Should possess a technical background, preferably with experience on FPSO as maintenance supervisor/ Lead mech. tech or Chief engineer/ second engineer on Tanker or Marine Engineer superintendent.
  • Previous experience of working with CMMS systems.
Knowledge and skills of preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance techniques.
