PVTrans OFS is now hiring Contractor Operations Manager

PVTrans OilField Services is a professional provider of maritime transportation and services to the oil and gas industry in Viet Nam and abroad (FSO/FPSO, O&M...). We are now hiring Contractor Operations Manager to join our team as follows:

Specific Accountabilities:

• Ensures that all operations activities performed by PVTrans will be in line with client expectations and that PVTrans and their contractors will conduct all work in a safe, cost effective manner and in line with environmental and operational standards.
• In conjunction with the Client’s Operations Manager and team will ensure the technical integrity of the operations assets and the health & safety of all departmental staff.
• Shall implement jointly agreed short and long-term objectives/plans for the Operations Department as direct by the client and has the responsibility for ensuring production, maintenance, and procurement are conducted in a manner that satisfies best oil field practice and complies with client business ethics and procurement standards.
• Responsible for all activities & budgets related to the above functions, including the quality of materials, services and personnel associated with the activities.
• Ensures that procedures and standards for all key activities are in place and adhered to and that channels of communication is fit to purpose and properly implemented and managed.
• To implement the objectives in Operations set out in the work plan and budget. To ensure that all employees and contractors clearly understand their rolls in achieving the objectives.
• To initiate and monitor teams assigned to particular Operations tasks and projects, ensuring that results are achieved on a timely basis.
• To work in conjunction with other Departments to ensure effective and timely response to Operations requirements.
• OIM must be kept informed of all actions, activities (including personnel issues) related to the Offshore facilities and crew

Key Competencies preferred

• Vietnamese Graduate engineer with over 15 years of experience in production operations, maintenance, engineering design & construction with exposure to logistics and procurement, offshore and onshore.
• Proven business and commercial acumen.
• Experience of managing teams of multi-discipline operations staff, offshore & onshore
• Commercially astute and experience of managing multimillion $ budgets.
• Understanding of Vietnamese culture and application of quality processes.
• Proficient in English both oral and written.
• Effective communication skills (oral, written, and computer)

Salary: Competitive
Working location: VT office Monday-Friday (8 hours/day)
