1 – Trainee Instrument Technician
- Instrumentation & control system Technologist Certification.
- Working knowledge of regulatory and industry codes applicable to the instrumentation discipline.
- In depth knowledge of calibration, installation and repair of electronic, pneumatic and hydraulic controls and systems.
- Working knowledge of PLC, Emergency Control Systems, Fire & Gas and Distributed Control Systems. Emphasis on computer / software equipment.
- Effective communication skills (written, oral) and computer.
- Proficient in English both written and verbal.
- Certification as an Industrial Electrician.
- Working knowledge of regulatory and industry codes applicable to the electrical discipline.
- Working knowledge of HV /MV/ LV power generation and distribution systems.
- Demonstrated awareness and sensitivity to environmental health and safety issues.
- Effective communication skills (written, oral) and computer.
- Proficiency in English both written and verbal.
- Mechanical Technologist Certificate in Mechanics or equivalent.
- Working knowledge of regulatory and industry codes applicable to the mechanical discipline.
- Working knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance, condition monitoring and with the application of computerized maintenance management systems.
- Familiarity with the theory and practice of rotating equipment and vibration analysis.
- Working knowledge of the operation and maintenance of gas turbine driven generators, diesel engines, multi-stage centrifugal pumps and compressors, HVAC systems, hydraulic systems and associated auxiliary mechanical equipment.
- Knowledgeable in static mechanical equipment including pressure vessels, valves, heat ex-changers, and other process equipment of offshore topside.
- Ability to read relevant technical drawings and piping specifications.
- Proficiency in English both written and verbal.
- High School diploma and Technologist or Industry Certification.
- Working knowledge of process separation, compression, utility systems.
- Thorough understanding of related production equipment and systems on the installation.
- Ability and willingness train/rotate through all operating units
- Willingness to train and develop in cross-functional areas and wellhead platform operations.
- Proficiency in English both written and verbal.
