PVTrans OilField Services is a professional provider of maritime transportation and services to the oil and gas industry in Viet Nam and abroad (FSO/FPSO, O&M...). PVTrans OilField Services is currently recruiting for a Fitter to join our FPSO team as follows:
FITTER:
Specific Accountabilities:
· Basic knowledge about mechanical equipment such as diesel engines, pumps, compressors, HVAC, rotating equipment, etc.
· Assist maintenance staff to carry out maintenance, repair during normal operation and breakdown jobs.
· Maintain all tools in good order and condition
· Carry out fabrication & installation of pipeline or similar jobs
· Be competent to perform gas tests and isolations as per permit to work and confined space entry permits
· Attend and assist in helicopter operation.
· Acting as the delegate Maintenance Technician on jobs as required by Maintenance Engineer or Maintenance Supervisor
· Works closely with the Maintenance Technician/ Maintenance Engineer to implement the planned maintenance and repair of equipment on the Facility.
· Familiar with the facility’s plant and machinery and competent in its safe operation and maintenance.
· Knowledge of safety requirements, work permits system, operational and emergency procedures.
Minimum Competencies:
· Experienced/back ground in Mechanical/ Marine Engineering is preferred.
· Experience as Maintenance Fitter/ Technician on FSO/FPSO or similar Facilities is advantage.
· Experience of tanker operations and working in the offshore environment is preferred.
· Experience on welding & fabrication and having welding certificate – 6G.
· Good communication skills and a good command of English.
