The purpose of this role is to carry out the assigned duties, which include but no limit to:
  • Patrol to ensure Hull standards are met;
  • Inspect the incoming materials and make reports properly;
  • Patrolling to ensure materials and corresponding welding consumables, WPS, etc. qualify the criteria;
  • Patrolling to ensure no deviation between fabrication and drawing requirements;
  • Take pre-inspection with related departments to ensure the readiness for official inspection
  • Collect all information to make Request for Inspection (RFI) as well as get all inspection reports properly;
  • Work with Class Surveyor, Ship Owner to conduct inspection properly;
  • Prepare all procedures and instruction documentation relating to the specific working requirements;
  • Organize quality meetings;
  • Co-ordinate with Project, Engineering and Production Departments to address 3rd party’s comments;
  • Report directly to Quality Manager all issues concerning the project in charge.
Qualifications Required:
  • Bachelor or Master Degree within naval, marine or general engineering.
Other Requirements:
  • Understanding Hull standards and corresponding testing;
  • Understanding shipbuilding technology;
  • Understanding the National and International Rules, Regulation of Classification Societies and Authorities in Shipbuilding;
  • English written and spoken are mandatory;
  • Basic computer knowledge is mandatory;
  • Minimum 3 years experience.
