BANGKOK Jan 27 (Reuters) - Thailand's Siam Cement said its $4.5-billion petrochemical complex in Vietnam will be delayed at least six months as it seeks a new partner to replace Qatar Petroleum, which withdrew from the project last year.

Siam Cement is also in discussions with the government of Vietnam and PetroVietnam about choosing a new partner, Chief Executive Roongrote Rangsiyopash told reporters.

Thailand's largest industrial conglomerate also aimed for sales growth of 5 percent to 10 percent in 2016, thanks to rising cement capacity in Southeast Asia, Roongrote said. (Reporting by Manunohattr Dhanananphorn and Khettiya Jittapong; Editing by Clarence Fernandez)
