PVD Invest is looking for A Mooring Master Team with position & requirement as follow:
REQUIREMENTS FOR PERSONNEL QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
1. Mooring Master
a) Qualification:
- Master Mariner Class 1 or Pilotage Extra Class Certificate of Competency.
- Pilotage Extra Class Certificate of Competency.
- Tanker/Loading Operation Training: Advanced level.
- GMDSS Operators Certificate preferable.
- Fluent in English in maritime and petroleum
- Strong personal and interpersonal skills and culturally aware with experience of working with multicultural workforce preferred.
b) Experience:
- Pilotage experience for tanker up to 150,000 DWT with minimum 100 berthings /offtakes and without interruption for more than 2 years up to the date submit bid proposal.
- Be able to cover all aspects of an offtake operation such as mooring/unmooring, offloading hose transfer, keeping station, executing documentation and physical inspection of an Export Tanker instead of using Pilot, Loading Master and Terminal Representative separately.
- Experience with method of ‘Boatless Cargo Hose Transfer’ (hose transferred from FPSO to Export Tanker without using second supply boat). This method will be used in Sutu field as the same as those being performed in almost all of Offshore Oil Terminals in Vietnam waters. (It has been found a safest and most cost-effective method in a larger extent of weather conditions).
- Relevant operating experience on an F(P)SO or similar facilities and detailed knowledge of tanker operations including crude oil washing, inert gas system and marine safety systems or have undertaken the Terminal approved training on-site and completed advanced tanker safety and operations course.
- Experience with safety management systems and computer based maintenance management systems preferred.
2. Bowman
a) Qualification:
- AB certificate.
- GMDSS Operators Certificate preferable
- Workable English and culturally aware with experience of working with multicultural workforce preferred.
b) Experience:
- Having worked as AB, or Bosun on tanker at least 1 year, and on-site training with minimum 6 offtakes as supervised bowman.
- Experience with method of ‘Boatless Cargo Hose Transfer’ (hose transferred from FPSO to Export Tanker without using second supply boat).
- Relevant operating experience on an F(P)SO or similar facilities and detailed knowledge of tanker operations including crude oil washing, inert gas system and marine safety systems or have undertaken the Terminal approved training on site and completed advanced tanker safety and operations course.
